A HYDROTHERAPY pool at the Pioneering Care Centre, in Newton Aycliffe, is now available for group sessions.
The pool can be booked by groups of up to eight people. It is one of the centre's most popular features and can be used, without referral, by anyone living in County Durham or Darlington.
The warm spa pool is used to relieve pain and improve mobility.
One regular user of the pool said: "It has improved my mobility so that I can climb stairs more easily, walk further, manage my housework better, garden, kneel a short while and start decorating again."
The pool has weekly group sessions available on Mondays, from 10am to 11am, and fortnightly on Tuesdays, from 10.15am to 11.15am, and on Thursdays, from 5.15pm to 6.15pm.
