MUSIC students will tonight perform a feast of rock songs from Hollywood films.
Young people from New College Durham will be performing the show called Hollywood Roxx.
The concert will span a wide range of Hollywood history including the more recent romantic comedies Love Actually and Bridget Jones' Diary, alongside classics such as Back to the Future.
Ken Potter, a lecturer in popular music at New College Durham, said: "The students have been rehearsing really hard for the last month and it gives them a break from their usual studies.
"We are using professional PA and lighting equipment and it also provides the students with an insight into the real world of performing."
More than 30 students from the BTEC National Diploma popular music course will be performing at the college's Garland Theatre tonight and tomorrow at 7.15pm.
Alan Fender, also a popular music lecturer at the college, said: "This year we have a really talented group of students and it's been a pleasure seeing the show come together."
Call the college on 0191-375 4000 for ticket availability.
