There will be a friendly Norman invasion at Kirkleatham Museum, Redcar, on Sunday and Monday from midday to 4pm.
Re-enactment group Anmod Dracan is setting up camp in the grounds to show visitors what life was like in the 12th Century. There will be storytelling sessions at 1.30pm each day and the knights will demonstrate their combat skills at 1pm and 3pm each afternoon. For more information, call the museum on (01642) 479500.
ANTIQUEs FAIR: The second Antiques and Collectors' Fair at Danby Village Hall, Danby, between Guisborough and Whitby, will be held on Monday from 10am to 4.30pm. Admission is 30p, which will be donated to local charities. There will be 17 stalls and home-made refreshments.
COLLECTORS' FAIR: Saltburn Community and Arts Association will be holding its next flea market and collectors' fair on Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free and refreshments will be on sale. The event will raise funds for the Saltburn Community and Arts Centre.

SAILING AFTERNOON: Scaling Dam Sailing Club is holding an open afternoon on Bank Holiday Monday, from 1pm, at Scaling Dam, on the A171 moor road between Guisborough and Whitby. The event is open to anyone interested in trying sailing. Equipment is supplied, but participants will need a towel and a change of clothes.
FARMERS' MARKET: Pinchinthorpe Hall, at Pinchinthorpe, near Guisborough, will host a farmers' market on Sunday, from 9.30am to 2pm. A variety of organic, free range and rare breed produce will be on sale by local farmers and producers
