DIVISION ONE: Hartlepool FC 1 Nunthorpe Ath 0: New champions the home started the brightest and had an early Neil Hay goal disallowed for offside, Gary Walker had a shot which hit the post and a Steve Lahney effort cleared of the line.
Michael Harrison finally gave Hartlepool the lead in the 28th minute to settle the home side's nerves but in the second half the match turned out to be poor showing from both sides. Visitors Nunthorpe, in their last match of the season, and the hosts battled it out in midfield and no further goals were forthcoming.
BEADS FC 2 Wolviston Res 2
early exchanges were very tight but BEADS keeper Liam Nixon had to go off with a suspected broken arm. Barney Malone deputised in goal but at half time the match remained goalless. Four minutes into the second half Wolviston took the lead when Darren Beattie lobbed the keeper with his 3rd of the season. The home side were soon back on level terms when Paul Chamberlain beat the visitors offside trap to make it 1-1 with his 13th of the season. Jimmy Fewster, making a rare outing because of a shortage of players, then gave the home side a 2-1 lead in the 70th minute when he headed home his first of the season, but seven minutes later Andrew Harris beat the offside trap and rammed home the equaliser.
Bedale 3 Mackinlay Park 2
Paul Orton gave the home side a first minute lead but Lee Griffiths pulled it back to 1-1 nine minutes later. On the hour Russell Edwards pulled it back to 2-2 and then Orton with his second of the game and 11th of the season in the 65th minute to secure the points for the home side.
Richmond Town 0 Carlin How 2
Richmond Town's poor run at the back end of the season continued with this defeat by Carlin How who are chasing the runners-up position. The match for the opening half hour was very even but turned in favor of the visitors when Richmond had Tom Ptak sent off in the 35th minute. Five minutes later Carlin How were awarded a penalty when Paul Carling handled the ball and Steve Starsmore struck home the penalty. The home side pushed forward looking for an equaliser before half time but failed to break through the visitors' defence. In the second half the home side again pushed forward but failed to make any impression on the scoreline and in the 75th minute the visitors doubled their lead when Glen Smith scored.
Thornaby YC 2 Grangetown BC 0
the home side took the lead in the eighth minute following good build-up ending with Chris Wrathmall being fouled in the Grangetown box, Marty Moore scoring from the resulting penalty. Six minutes later the Youth Club doubled their lead when Darren Fixter turned his defender and fired under the keeper to make it 2-0. Five minutes later the visitors lost their keeper with a bad injury and when play restarted they pressed forward but were unable to make any impression on the score and at half time the Youth Club were still in the lead by the two goals. In the second half the play was fairly even with neither able to add any further goals.
Division Two
Guisb Town Res 1 Darlington CB 2
Guisborough Town Reserves got on top early in the first half and Andrew Davies missed a couple of good chances but in the 28th minute Brain Gaughi put Ewan McGee through on goal and he made no mistake to give the Guisborough side a 1-0 half-time lead. A minute into the second half Darlington Cleveland Bridge pressure resulted in Nigel Clark pulling back to 1-1. The match was end to end with both sides creating chances but the visitors scored again when Wayne King, on the field as a 60th minute substitute, scored in the 70th minute to secure the win for the Darlington side, leaving the Guisborough having to seek re-election for the second consecutive season.
Teesside Link 2 Darlington RA Res 1
Teesside Link, whose hopes of second place and promotion were ended when they were beaten by Richmond Mavericks on Wednesday, played their penultimate match of the season when they entertained Darlington RA Reserves. It was the Thornaby side who took a tenth minute lead through Kevin Haley, but man of the match Darren Kokes pulled it back to 1-1 at half-time with his 26th of the season. In the second half the match was very tight but in the 68th minute Haley struck again to secure the points and consolidate fourth place with a game remaining.

North Ormesby 2 Billingham Wndrs 2
North Ormesby took the lead in the 15th minute when Carl Wilson scored from close range when the visiting keeper spilled a free kick, but ten minutes later the match was all square at 1-1 when David Phillips scored. North Ormesby struck back again to take a 2-1 half time lead when Matthew Scott scored his first of the season with a bullet header. In the second half the visitors pushed forward but had to wait until the 70th minute before they were on level terms when Jonathan Stewart made it all square at 2-2.
