DARLINGTON take on Swansea City in their last home match of the season tomorrow with the threat of relegation to the Nationwide Conference finally lifted.
Only a bizarre set of results in the last two weeks of the season could deny Quakers Division Three football next season after a Neil Wainwright strike earned them a 1-1 draw at promotion-chasing Lincoln City last Saturday.
The result left David Hodgson's side six points clear of second-bottom Carlisle with a vastly superior goal difference.
They assured their Division Three status with another battling display at Sincil Bank, Wainwright putting them ahead as half-time approached.
Francis Green equalised for the Imps early in the second half, but Quakers clung on to their precious point and will be hoping to end their home programme with a win over the Swans
