DESPITE falling behind with only 52 seconds on the clock, Felling Mulberry still went on to beat Stanley Masons Arms SC 5-2.
The Masons stormed in front through Chris Philips only for the Mulberry to hit back and take control of the game though the Masons did manage a second goal from Ian McAllister.
The Mulberry had five different scorers in man of the match Paul Wilkinson, Andy Parkin, Lee Wilkinson, Gary Harkness and William Clowes to emphatically claim maximum points.
Low Fell Jolly Miller beat Gateshead Black Bull 4-0 with strikes from Tom Cattnach, Peter Galbraith, Stuart Clayburn and John Robinson.
Stanley Royal clinched a place in the North West Durham Charity Cup Final for the second successive year with a 4-2 win over Consett Stateside.
The Durham Hospitals Cup final will take place on Sunday, May 16 at South Moor Sports Club (10.30am).
