A SCHOOL has received a £300 grant to help pupils improve their eating habits.
Croft Primary School was awarded the money to buy and install a greenhouse in its grounds by Yorkshire Bank's Educational Awards Scheme.
Three years ago, the school opted out of a county-wide catering contract and started to provide its own meals.
The development of both the greenhouse and an allotment area will enable the school to grow its own organic vegetables to be used in meals.
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Bank said: "I'm really pleased we have been able to help Croft Primary."
