PEOPLE in Derwentside have the chance to try free activities.
The Learning Network Project, made up of Durham County Council, Derwentside College and Return to Learn, will celebrate Adult Learners Week next week with events.
Internet quizzes, desktop publishing and health sessions are some of the activities that people can try at local venues.
A fun and freebies day will be held from noon to 4pm next Monday at St Stephen's Church Hall, Hollyhill Gardens, South Stanley, to launch the events.
Annfield Plain Library will hold desktop publishing and health sessions the following day, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, and South Moor Library will run a web surfers day with Internet quizzes from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesday, May 19.
The week will end on Friday, May 21, with desktop publishing and health sessions at Craghead Village Hall, from 2pm to 4pm.
To book a place at any of the events, call 0191-383 4943.
