JOURNALIST and broadcaster Janet Street-Porter will come to the North-East this month with a one-woman show about her life and work.
Following a sell-out debut at the Edinburgh Festival last year, All the Rage will be staged at Darlington Arts Centre.
The show touches on topics such as her fraught relationship with her mother, husbands, mothers-in-law and her career from presenter to BBC executive and creator of ill-fated Live TV.
She said: "Most people think that my life is like a soap opera, so here is their chance to judge for themselves."
Directed by David Benson, the tour coincides with the publication of her book, Baggage, which focuses on her childhood.
Tickets for the performance on Tuesday, May 18, cost £8 and are available on (01325) 486555.
