A GROUP of Scottish dancers have ensured that everything will run on time at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.
A stylish clock now has pride of place on the wall of the recreation hall thanks to the generosity of the local Caledonian Society.
Members hold regular Scottish dancing classes in the town hall.
Geoffrey Stanley, Dr Neil Browning and vice-president Mildred Burt presented the clock to the hospital to show their appreciation after a successful Hogmanay celebration last year.
Dr Browning is no stranger to the Friarage, only retiring two years ago after 22 years there as a consultant haematologist.
Hospital manager John Gibb said; "We are very grateful for the donation of this clock, which will benefit users of the hall in future and we would like to thank the society for their support."
