AN event to showcase talent in Newton Aycliffe has attracted the cream of the town's young performers.
Great Aycliffe Town Council has provided the Playhouse Marquee, which incorporates a large stage and seating for more than 200 at the Great Aycliffe Show.
Performers include the Global Sounds town-wide singing project with John Melvin, Caroline Race and Kelly McWaters, Stepping Out with Clare Walton, Mary Macadam School of Dance, Parkside Dance Group, and Teesdale band Ortonomy. Bands performing at the show for the first time include The Grade, Fruity Buckfoot, Wooderson and The Planet Youth, along with Jolene McDonnell, Klass and three rock bands from Greenfield School.
There is one performance space left to accommodate any last minute acts.
Any band, musician, drama performer, dancer, singer or entertainer wanting to take part can contact Jo-Anne Mason on (01325) 307147 or 379048.
The events run from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, June 19 and 20.
