VISITORS to 15 North-East attractions will be able to save money this summer through a new passport initiative.
The Herriot County Attractions Group, in North Yorkshire, has joined forces with Newby Hall, near Ripon for the three-month long scheme.
The passport gives visitors two-for-one admission and, if all the attractions are visited, would mean a saving of £100.
The scheme is being marketed using a "£100 note" featuring the head of James Herriot author, Alf Wight.
Attractions included in the scheme are Aerial Extreme, Beningbrough Hall, Big Sheep and Little Cow Farm, Falconry UK, Kiplin Hall, Monk Park Farm, Mount Grace Priory, Ritz Cinema, Shandy Hall, Sion Hill Hall, Sutton Park, The World of James Herriot, Thirsk Museum, Wensleydale Railway, and the Yorkshire Explorer.
The passports are issued by the attractions when visitors pay a full-priced admission. After that, discounts apply on subsequent visits to any of the attractions. The scheme runs until July 27.
