A COMMUNITY group in Darlington is to get a new logo thanks to the work of school pupils.
The design skills of Lucas Roy, 15, from Eastbourne School and Beth Weller, ten, from Heathfield Primary School, will be combined to form the logo for the Lingfield Community Partnership.
Both winners were presented with £10 vouchers during assembly at Heathfield Primary School.
Community development worker Sarah Kasagic said: "We really had a fantastic response from local children and the quality of entries was great. It is a step forward for the partnership to get more young people involved."
The competition, which received more than 100 entries, was aimed at educating children about the work of the partnership and boosting its local profile.
Two runners-up from Heathfield Primary School were awarded chocolates.
