A CAMPAIGN to find more foster carers was relaunched by North Yorkshire County Council.
The Help Us Raise 100 Smiles campaign has so far found 15 new foster carers, but social services say they need many more volunteers.
The council unveiled 55 County Care North Yorkshire vehicles which have been painted with the campaign slogan. A further 25 county council vehicles will also be painted with the logo.
Councillor Caroline Patmore, executive member for social services with special responsibility for children's services, said: "We wanted to give our foster care campaign another push, so what better way than to use vehicles which already deliver important services in North Yorkshire."
The council is looking for people who can provide both short term and long term care.
They will receive financial help to cover the costs of looking after a child and additional fees are paid in certain circumstances.
Anyone interested is asked to call Fostering North Yorkshire any time on 0800 3892362.
