North-East opera star Suzannah Clarke has been confirmed as a headline act for Opera at the House at the inaugural Harewood Music Festival
Thousands of people are expected to attend the event, which features opera, jazz and fireworks, in the grounds of Harewood House, near Leeds.
Sunday, June 6, will see Opera at the House, an enchanting evening of popular opera. Middlesbrough-born soprano Suzannah will be joined by tenor Bonaventura Bottone to perform a three-hour programme of opera classics in the company of the Opera North Orchestra and conductor Anthony Ingles.
On Friday June 4, Jazz at the House will feature 19 year-old singer Katie Melua.Supporting acts including some of the jazz world's favourite performers, George Melley, Stacey Kent and Digby Fairweather and his Half Dozen.
