PRIMARY schools in Darlington competed in the annual school's netball competition, on Saturday.
Children from 17 schools took part in the tournament at Polam Hall School, with teams competing for six minutes each way.
Polam Hall School won the competition, beating Hurworth 7-3 in the final. In the play off for third and fourth places, Mowden beat Heathfield, 7-1. Heathfield won the fair play trophy.
Emma Coleby, sports and physical activity development manager for Darlington Council said: "The children all behaved fantastically. The sportsmanship was great.
