A charity is appealing for bone marrow donors.
The Anthony Nolan Trust, in conjunction with Northallerton Round Table, has organised a session to encourage people to find out how to become donors.
Young people, particularly men, make the most effective donors.
Volunteers joining the Anthony Nolan Trust register must be aged 18 to 40, be in good general health, weigh more than 8st and be willing to donate stem cells or bone marrow to any patient they may match, at any time.
The clinic will be held at Mowbray House Surgery, Malpas Road, 5-8pm on Wednesday, next week
