A CAR rally celebrating a sporty three-wheeler takes place at one of the region's leading holiday attractions this weekend.
The Morgan Sports Car Club Meet takes place at the Beamish Museum, near Chester-le-Street, County Durham, on Sunday.
About 50 of the vehicles are expected to be on display, including an early Morgan Cycle Car and a 1933 V-Twin model.
Some of the more stylish cars will be judged in the concours d'elegance, while raw power will be demonstrated by models including the Aero8. Fitted with a 4.4 litre BMW engine, it is capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in under five seconds.
The event is part of Beamish's involvement in Museums and Galleries Month, which this year is based on the theme of travel.
