COUNCILLORS have appointed leaders following parish and town council elections.
Councillor Mike Findley, of Marske, who is a borough councillor for the Longbeck ward, was elected chairman of Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council.
Councillor John Coulthard, from Marske, is the vice-chairman.
Councillor Gerry Dickinson was unanimously elected chairman of Loftus Town Council and Loftus Town Mayor.
He is on the Board of Governors for Freeborough College and chairman of the Hummersea school board. He has served on the town council for 13 years.
Councillor Linda Bell is vice-chairman.
