PEOPLE are being asked for their memories for a website to attract visitors to an east Cleveland town.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has relaunched its Redcar Visitor website and wants memories of the town to create an archive of pictures and written material.
People wanting to add their memories can fill out a feedback form in the Town Memories section at www.redcar-cleveland.gov. uk/redcarvisitor
The website, for use by residents and visitors, has sections on shopping, tourism and details of business opportunities, property and business support.
Town centre manager John Partridge said: "I hope this new website helps us promote the town in the region and further afield.
"I am particularly pleased with the Town Memories section. Redcar has a colourful history and I would like to use the site to capture a flavour of this for our Internet customers.
