MEETINGS to establish area environment committees in east Cleveland are being held.
Each of the six committees in Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's area will be made up of ward councillors, who will meet every six weeks.
They will oversee the work of the council's newly-established department of area management and will include an hour-long public forum.
The meeting for the Redcar wards of Kirkleatham, West Dyke, Coatham, Newcomen, Dormanstown and Zetland has already been held.
Other meetings are:
* Skelton, Saltburn, Longbeck and St Germains committee, at Marske Leisure Centre, at 6pm, on Monday.
* Eston, Normanby and Ormesby area, at Eston Town Hall, at 6pm, on Tuesday.
* Brotton, Loftus and Lockwood area, at Loftus Town Hall, at 6pm, on Wednesday.
* South Bank, Grangetown and Teesville area, at Eston Town Hall, at 6pm, on May 27.
