Darlington RA Ladies: The end of season has brought the end of an era for three RA members as three of the team have ended their involvement.
Liz Lawrence and Hailey Burton, have both hung up their boots after long spells with the team.
Liz has played football for more than 20-years for several teams and for Darlington for the last six years. Hailey has been with Darlington in two spells over an eight-year period, both will be missed next season.
Having been an influential figure in female football in Darlington for more than a decade, Tim Paver has stepped down as secretary.
He moved the team forward to being one of the region's top sides and has also played a part in helping the Northern Women's League become one of the most respected leagues in the country.
The RA Ladies wish them well and thank them for their time and effort.
First team manager John Boyd has stepped in as secretary. The ladies are now looking forward to summer tournaments and will be reporting back for pre-season training at the RA ground on July 15 all players old and new are welcome to contact John on (01325) 284183.
