Division One, Thornaby YC 4 Bedale FC 1: Thornaby Youth Club bounced back from their MacMillan Bowl defeat by BEADS FC by winning their last match of the season and leapfrogging BEADS into fourth.
After the opening 20 minutes three goals in 13 minutes against visitors Bedale set Thornaby on the road to victory. The opening goal from Chris Wrathmall came when he headed home a Paul Irish cross and he was on target again after a Chris Burton knock-on. Burton then got on the scoresheet to make it 3-0 at the break. On the hour Malcolm Allen made it 4-0 before Bedale's Paul Orton scored.
Division Two, Darlington RA Res 2 No. Ormesby 4
Darlington RA Reserves got off to a great start when their top scorer Darren Kokes scored his 27th of the season to make it 1-0. The lead lasted until a minute before half-time when Dave Howe equalised and four minutes into the second half Carl Wilson made it 2-1 to North Ormesby. On the hour Wilson struck his second of the match and 12th of the season to make it 3-1 before Howe struck his second of the match and eigth of the season. Dean Lawson then gave the home side a glimmer of hope when he pulled it back to 4-2 in the 70th minute, but North Ormesby were able to withstand the last quarter of an hour of pressure to secure the points and move up the table.
Richmond Mvrks 1 Dormans FC 4
the first half was evenly balanced but Lee Doherty gave Dormans an 18th minute lead. Wayne Gredziak, possibly making his farewell appearance before taking over as player/manager of first division Richmond Town, pulled it back to 1-1 which remained the score at half-time. In the second half Dormans took control and James McGowan added three more goals to take his tally to 43 for the season and win the Second Division golden boot award with headed goals in the 61st, 71st and 89th minute.
