May Medal and Lascelles Qualifier: With an entry of 147 this month's competition attracted a large field and out congratulations go to Bob Moffat who although drifting towards 80 returns a gross 77 two shots better than his years and showing his younger competitors a thing or two.
Close scoring required a card countback in divisions one and two. the best gross went to Matthew Marsh with a 70, Bob Moffat, Garry Davies and John Taylor by winning their respective divisions qualify for the Medal Final to be played on September 12.
Division One: 66 Bob Moffat (11), 69 Tim Morris (11), Mike Mayman (8), Matthew Marsh (1).
Division Two: 71 Garry Davies (18), John Hart (16), Neville Taylor (18). 72 Kevin Scott (20).
