Newfit Services Willington: Willington Burn fought their way through to victory in the Six Man Team Trophy at the Prospect Club.
The league has just announced their programme for the Singles Championships. The first qualifying event will be held at eight venues on Monday, May 17 with one winner from each moving forward to Hunwick Joiners Arms where they will play down to two players who will play on Finals Night at the Victoria Club on Monday, June 21.
Crook Ladies League
The new season will begin on Thursday, May 20 when it is hoped 19 teams will compete, providing they meet the necessary criteria at the Registrations Meeting.

Wear Valley Ladies League
Ionly match played Byers Green Royal Oak avoided the wooden spoon when they won by the odd point at Crook Royal Sun, who had already tied up the runners-up spot.
Weardale Ladies
St Johns Chapel Blue Bell B are champions again despite losing their final game at Pack Horse. Hare and Hounds are runners up after a big win saw them overtake Mill Race and Black Lion A.
