Willington had the better of Crook Town when the sides met in a local derby. Batting first, the home side managed only 70 for seven which included 20 by Mark Bowey, Chris Moore was in good form with the ball for Willington, returning three for 20 in five overs.
Jonathan Askew dominated the Willington reply recording one six and four boundaries in an unbeaten 55 out of a total of 72 without loss.
Etherley also enjoyed a big victory at home to Kimblesworth. Carl McGregor scored six fours in 50 and Carl Lee added 21 to the home team's total of 128 for eight. Smithson had three for 11 and Reed two for 25 for Kimblesworth who in response were restricted to 62 for eight.
Bishop top scored with 27 and for Etherley Chris Moore took four for 17 in five overs.
Coates top performed making 51 of the Langley Park total of 115 for four and Newton Aycliffe totalled just 79 for six for which Andrew Jennings scored 18 and Jon Crick 17 not out.
Esh Winning lost by one run to Haughton. When they made first use of the wickets Haughton realised 96 for four including 35 not out by Matthew Moore and 24 by Michael Bean.
Replying, Esh Winning finished with 95 for eight over which Wilson top performed with an undefeated 35. Dale Thomas had three for 23 and Michael Bean two for 22 in the Haughton attack.
Brandon had 25 runs to spare against Mainsforth. Stephen Wallace hit three fours in an unbeaten 47 and Ian Myers had two sixes and three boundaries out of an undefeated 50 as the pair added 83 in ten overs.
