WOULD-BE Tarzans and Janes have been given a new challenge to test them in the tree-tops.
Aerial Extreme, near Kirklington, near Bedale, has added a skywalk to its rope-built assault course in the sky.
To test the equipment, the company invited experts from the mountain rescue team at RAF Leeming to try it out.
They made their way over a 50ft wall, swayed across a bridge that would not have looked out of place in the Amazon rainforest, before tackling a 50ft para-descent.
Aerial Extreme's business development manager, Emma Haley, said: "These guys carry out physical training exercises every weekend throughout the year, their training is both intensive and demanding."
Aerial Extreme is open from March to November, on Saturdays and Sundays, and during school holidays.
Visits can be booked on (01845) 567100.
