Darlington RA completed the season with victory at Harton and Westoe and finished fifth from top.
Despite having only 11 regular players on duty with manager Dave Woodcock and secretary Martyn Jackson named as substitutes, they still proved too good for the home side and ran out 2-0 winners.
Following an uneasy opening ten minutes, RA took the lead with their first attack when Rob Morley cleverly dribbled through the Harton defence and set up Philip Sweet who beat Neil Smith from close range.
After just 17 minutes, Woodcock was called into action to replace the injured Stephen Lyall and soon afterwards, Harton also made a substitution introducing Gary Stevenson for goalkeeper Smith.
The home team had the better chances in the first period but when they failed to make them count, RA struck at the other end soon after the interval. Boss Woodcock quickly took a free kick which was headed in at the far post by Sweet.
Wolviston are finishing with a flourish and victory in their final game against Gateshead Reserves at Metcalfe Park tonight will move them into sixth place.
They made it 14 goals in three games defeating Whitehaven 5-0 but it was not until the 44th minute that the deadlock was broken.
David Dowd was brought down and Andy Steele converted the penalty. Steel powered in a header on 55 minutes but there were no more goals until the last seven minutes when Dowd completed a quick-fire hat-trick.
North Shields played their last game before moving into the Albany Northern League and completed 18 consecutive victories defeating Stokesley SC 3-2.
Leading scorer Stephen Hamil gave the Robins a tenth-minute advantage but goals by Richard Hore and Craig Johnson swung the initiative towards Stokesley.
Andy Stokes levelled in the 40th minute and early in the second period Anthony Robson put Shields in front. After the game, League secretary Tom Clark presented the championship trophy to the Shieldsmen.
After trailing to goals by Gary Hodgson and Howard Kirkbride, Annfield Plain equalised with strikes from Aaron Robinson and Philip Raisbeck but Windscale finished 3-2 winners with a second, late goal by regular marksman Kirkbride.
