THE sunny weather brought out the crowds at a traditional carnival funfair held over the weekend in a village near Darlington.
Heighington village was alive with music and games as families made the most of the outdoor entertainment that was provided by the organiser of the funfair, Paul Evans.
The fair, which ran on Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon, provided fun for all ages with face painting, fairground rides and games for adults and children.
Any schools or clubs interested in hiring a fair ride for an event can call Mr Evans on 07836 350507.
