TWO men are facing jail for their part in a conspiracy to supply more than £250,000-worth of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis.
Jonathon Moorby, 34, of Pembroke Drive, Ingleby Barwick, near Stockton, and Allan Blakemore, 43, of Heather Close, Stockton, admitted a string of drugs related offences after appearing at Teesside Crown Court, yesterday.
The drugs haul, which included 500g of cocaine, 17,000 ecstasy tablets and 50 kilos of cannabis - was one of the biggest recovered by police on Teesside and came about as a result of raids in the Fern Park and Ingleby Barwick areas of Stockton last October.
Moorby, Blakemore and Blakemore's wife, Karen, were arrested and were due to face trial, but the former two changed their pleas following discussions between prosecution and defence counsel.
No evidence was now being offered against Karen Blakemore, the court was told.
Moorby admitted conspiracy to supply together with others ecstasy, cocaine and amphetamine and admitted conspiracy to supply cannabis.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon - an extendable baton - and a weapon designed for the discharge of a noxious gas. Blakemore admitted three charges of possessing ecstasy, cocaine and amphetamine with intent to supply.
Both men were granted bail by Judge Peter Bowers and are likely to return to court to be sentenced in July.
