A MAN is in hospital with suspected stab wounds after two men broke into his house at 6am yesterday.
The man, who is in his 40s, was attacked at his home in Whincup Grove, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. Property was stolen during the incident.
He suffered puncture wounds in the left side of his body and is recovering in Harrogate District Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A spokesman for Harrogate Police said: "We are conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area to find witnesses. People in the area should not worry."
Police have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area to call officers on (01423) 539334 or Crimestoppers on (0800) 555111.
