THREE students from the US have travelled to the North-East to become better qualified in design.
Gwen Brice, 49, John Wagoner, 40, and Verneitta Womack, 40, from Cleveland Community College in Tennessee, crossed the Atlantic to study Auto Computer Assisted Design at Redcar and Cleveland College.
Their trip follows a recent stay by nine Redcar and Cleveland College students, who visited the US college for a ten-day engineering course.
The US students also spent ten days in the UK and took City and Guild Qualifications.
They also had time for some sightseeing, visiting Edinburgh, Alnwick, Newcastle, Whitby, York and London.
Mr Wagoner said: "It was great to come to England and experience the learning environment at Redcar and Cleveland College."
