CIU League: Mark Farmer of Newfield produced a great spell of throwing in the home match against Ferryhill, when he put in four maximums, believed to be a league record.
This helped his team to a three points victory. The other maximums of the week came from Jeff Sneath and Doug McCarthy of Crook Belle Vue and Kevin Whitehead of Newfield.
There was disappointment throughout the league when Middlestone Moor announced their resignation because of a shortage of players. All their results have been taken from the tables, with the new placings shown below.

Auckland Area CIU League
Eldon Lane put themselves in the driving seat in the team Knockout Final when they beat the visiting West Auckland 14-11 in the first leg. The games all went to an odd point decider except for the pool, where Eldon whitewashed the West team.
The darts winners for Eldon were Kevin Weldon and Stephen Weldon with Rob Douthwaite, Neil Pinkney and Brian Denham winning for West. The dominoes went to the home side by the odd point with wins from John Bell, Ronnie Thompson and Brian Coglan whilst Jimmy Rowe and Neil Pinkney replied for West.
The visitors won the whist by the odd point with wins from Ted Evans, Mick Townsend and Jimmy Singlewood against Eldon's winners, Alan Race and Kenny Williams. West Auckland also won the Fives and threes by the odd point with wins from Ronnie Williams, Ted Evans and John Richardson, whilst Brian Coglan and John Bell won for Eldon.
The pool section was Eldon Lane's saving grace for they never dropped a point as Richard McCutcheon, Kevin Weldon, Terry Race, Steve Weldon and Colin Patterson all won.
Willington Ladies League
IDarts Team Knockout, Kim Tobbell hit a vital 104 check out to take her team, Willington Market through to an odd point win over the visiting Willington Club A. The darts champions, Willington Club B edged through to beat the visiting Willington Cottles B by the odd point.
