On Sunday Ferryhill Surtees Dynamos FC made their own little bit of history as they won the Durham Hospitals Cup for the third consecutive year - an achievement which has never before done in over 100 years of the cup's existence.
Surtees Dynamos played Shildon Elm Road social club at South Moor sports club and the score remained goalless up to half time with the Dynamos having a goal disallowed.
Ten minutes after the restart Elm Road scored, and then they got a second five minutes later.
Even when 2-0 down Surtees never gave up and scored 25 minutes into the half and ten minutes later hit the net again to make it 2-2.
The score remained level so golden goal extra time was required and just 27 seconds in Dynamos scored to clinch the cup and create their own little bit of history.
