TEES Valley Riding Club rose to the occasion when they took part in their first national competition recently.
After qualifying for the British Riding Clubs Hunter Trials Championships earlier in the year with a team of four, the eventual team of three were placed tenth in the senior novice class.
All three riders completed the course in the Festival of the Hunter competition at Grange Farm Equestrian Centre in Cambridgeshire, but time faults were incurred.
Congratulations go to the team of Colin Saint, riding Clint, Helen Foulds on Byron and Liz Banks on Our Man Flint. The fourth team member had to withdraw at the last minute due to a horse injury.
The competition was very well attended and drew many riding club teams from all over the UK
