EVENTS including a sponsored headshave have raised more than £1,000 for a severely disabled three-year-old boy.
Staff at the Rural Payments Agency (RPA), based in Northallerton, have been fund-raising for Joshua Peacock for the past year.
In total, they raised £1,134 for Joshua, from Northallerton, who suffers from a form of cerebral palsy and needs constant care.
RPA employee Danny Hawkins raised £645 when he had his hair shaved off recently.
Mr Hawkins, who lives at Catterick Garrison, said: "I regretted it when I had done it to start with because the weather changed and it was a bit cold up top.
"But everyone has been really generous. I didn't really expect to raise this much."
