* Last week, Spraire Lads Under-15 B were in the depths of despair having lost a top of the table clash with Dormans Athletic. Spraire's rivals were then left with the apparent formality of beating mid-table Grangefield in a midweek fixture to take the TJFA Division Four title.
With Dormans leading 1-0 against Grangefield with five minutes to go, everything seemed to be going to plan for them.
However, no-one could have predicted what was to come; with a final twist to end the season, a flurry of four goals in four minutes resulted in a 3-2 win to Grangefield and as a consequence, the championship passed rapidly west along the A66 into the very grateful arms of Spraire Lads Under-15B.
Spraire had a 'spy' at the match and with the modern phenomena of mobile phones and MSN, it was absolutely incredible how fast the news of Grangefield's victory spread around the Spraire camp.
Spraire Under-15 B will forever be indebted to the gallant lads of Grangefield!
