Durham Amateur Rowing Club traveled to Bradford last weekend with the junior girls to take on their Yorkshire counterparts in the Bradford Spring Regatta.
The fine weather set the scene for a great day of racing.
Wins were achieved by the WJ 14 quad (M Pickering, L Lax, A Scurfield, P Jones, Cox V Elder), WJ 13 double (M Pickering and L Lax) and the WJ 14 single (H Preston). The WJ 14 double was narrowly beaten in the final by a strong York crew.
The girls J13 and 14 squad is going from strength to strength and will have a further chance to show off their skills this weekend at Tees Regatta.
