CHILDREN from six Darlington senior schools pitted their wits against one another during a mathematics challenge.
Year nine pupils from Branksome, Eastbourne, Haughton, Hurworth, Longfield and Polam Hall schools took part in the Darlington heat of the Tees Valley Maths Challenge.
Longfield School won the contest, organised by learn2work and supported by Mini Bridge, Inland Revenue, Albert Park, Image Group and Chilli Media, and other organisations.
The team will compete against others from the Tees Valley in the final at Morton Park Business Centre, in Darlington, on Thursday.
