PEOPLE enjoyed rare delicacies including wild boar and ostrich sausage at a town's first French market at the weekend.
Hundreds of visitors attended the three-day, 22-stall market at Stockton's High Street and Wellington Square Shopping Centre from Friday to Sunday.
Shoppers had the chance to sample home-made jam, cheese and crepes along with the traditional British fish and chips and pasties.
Rob Gildersleeve, centre manager at Wellington Square Shopping, said: "The market was a very welcome addition and really brought the town alive with its vibrant atmosphere and unique quality.
"We achieved a record number of visitors over the weekend and I am delighted with the positive feedback we have received from shoppers.
"It was a great weekend for all and something I am sure we will be keen to repeat."
