VISITORS to libraries and museums in Stockton are being invited to step back in time.
Put that Light Out is a day of music, photographs, book displays and artefacts showing what life was like in Stockton from 1939 to 1945. It will take place at Stockton Central Library today and Thursday.
Ken Watson, author of World War Two, Memories of Radar Reminiscence and Romance, will be speaking about his book and life during the war from 2pm today. He will also sign copies of the book.
The events are being held as part of Local History Week and Museums and Galleries Month.
Both days are free and take place in the lecture theatre of the library from 10am to 4pm today and 10am to 2pm. However, school session times will run from 11am to 11.30am.
Other events are running in Norton and Yarm libraries.
