TIMETABLE changes on some bus services run by Go North-East come into force this week.
Routes affected by the amended schedules include the 179 between Chester-le-Street and Concord, in Washington, where rush-hour morning schedules undergo the biggest shake-up.
Services operating at 7am, 8am and 9am from Chester-le-Street are being re-timed to start ten minutes earlier than existing timetables.
The same applies to the 7.30am and 8.30am services from Concord to Chester-le-Street, which will now set off at 7.20am and 8.20am.
All other journeys on the 179 route will be unaffected.
Meanwhile, most journeys on the 180 route from Houghton-le-Spring to Concord have been re-timed to start 20 minutes earlier than on existing schedules.
Passengers using these services are urged to check the new timetables.
Free timetable leaflets are available from Go North East Travel Centres in Chester-le-Street and at the Galleries shopping centre, in Washington.
