A FREE gadget workshop explaining how to build a weird and wonderful game using special foam will be staged in the North-East at the weekend.
The Science Saturday workshop, presented by Tom Mullholland - or Technology Tom, as he is known at local schools - will take place at the Discovery Museum, Newcastle, at 11am.
Mr Mullholland, a teacher of science and design technology for 25 years, has a passion for practical project work and a desire to promote designing and making skills to all age groups.
The workshop will help people to make their own electric buzzer game, using plastic polymer foam.
All of the necessary parts will be provided and the completed projects can be taken away by the constructors.
The science events are supported by the Associates of Discovery Museum, a group of professionals in the field of science and engineering.
Mr Mullholland's website, www. technologytom.com, is a helpful resource for people who want to find out more about science, invention and designing and making things.
