MUSIC students are taking to the stage to perform a history of rock music.
New College Durham First Diploma Performing Arts and Music students will present Rock of Ages, a concert featuring songs from the 1960s to the present day in the college's Garland Theatre.
The concert will also showcase songs written by some of the performers.
Lecturer Ian Matthews said: "This is a rare opportunity to see developing young talent and the students' final opportunity to prove themselves."
The college's £35m campus at Framwellgate Moor will include a two-storey drama studio and a music building.
The concert is tomorrow at 7.30pm with a matinee performance on Friday at 1.30pm.
Tickets are free. To book, call 0191-375 4040.
