TWO men snatched a woman's handbag and a bracelet belonging to her newborn daughter in broad daylight.
The woman was walking with her nine-year-old son and ten-week-old daughter in Ropner Park, Stockton at 4.45pm on Tuesday when she bent down to tie her shoelaces.
At that point two men in their mid-to-late 20s on bicycles rode up and snatched her handbag from the pram.
More than £150 cash and personal items was in the bag including a bracelet belonging to her newborn daughter. The bracelet was gold and engraved Robin-16.03.04 and is worth £160.
The men both had stubble and wore dark tops, dark trousers and black caps. They both rode silver BMXs.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, including a man who saw the crime and took the victim's phone number promising to call with descriptions of the thieves.
