THE story of Alice Through The Looking Glass is coming to Ormesby Hall, near Middlesbrough, early next month.
Performed by open air theatre group Illyria, Alice will climb through the looking glass and become a pawn in a giant chess game, encounter Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, a plate of singing oysters and the fearsome Jabberwock.
The house manager, Ian Brockbank, said: "Following the previous success with Alice in Wonderland, we are pleased that the Illyria team are returning to the hall to bring the bizarre world of Lewis Carroll to life."
The performance starts at 7pm on Friday, June 11, in the gardens of the hall, with the gates opening at 6pm.
Picnics are welcome and the audience can bring their own seats or rugs.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children.
To book, call the Ormesby Hall box office on 01642 316060.
