Under-18s: Durham City had eight wickets to spare when they visited Boldon who they restricted to 98 for four, writes MALCOLM PRATT.
Chris Burns carried his bat for 35 in the home side's innings before Williamson ended undefeated on 34 as Durham responded with 100 for two.
Despite making a useful 105 for three Seaham Harbour went down by six wickets to South Hetton. Young hit a couple of sixes and seven boundaries ending with 58 not out for Seaham and for South Hetton Gary Burlinson recorded six boundaries out of 32. Cartridge had a good night with the ball for the Harbour taking three of the four South Hetton wickets to fall for 34 runs in five overs.
John Coxon showed his potential scoring a fine 72 in the Chester-le-Street total of 116 for four which also included 30 by Shurben. Replying Philadelphia made 63 for five leaving the Cestrians winners by the big margin of 53 runs.
Felling were all out for 58 and lost by seven wickets to Eppleton while Whitburn overtook the Hetton Lyons total of 93 for six which included 36 not out by Ian Machin with half their wickets remaining.
