ARTISTIC students at a Darlington school yesterday moved a step closer to seeing their garden design become a reality.
The youngsters from Haughton Comprehensive School paid a visit to S & I Structures, on Albert Hill Industrial Estate, in Darlington, to see how their ideas were taking shape.
The students, working in conjunction with Darlington Borough Council's Woodburn Nursery team, have created a design for this year's Royal Horticultural Society's Flower Show, at Tatton Park, in Manchester.
Metal structures are being created by S & I Structures as part of the concept, which carries the theme of how the Quaker community has influenced modern-day life in Darlington.
The design will be put forward for the RHS National Flower Bed Competition at the show, in July.
