Durham travelled to Stockton at the weekend to take part in this year's Tees Regatta and the club took a large contingent.
The club achieved 12 wins, with the junior club members having another successful day.
However, the club's win of the day was in the Senior 4 doubles event, where Ian Howie and Mark Bell produced a magnificent performance, Mark coming back from a long break from rowing, preferring to coach the juniors for the last few years.
Further club wins were achieved in the following events: MJ121x (C. Tully), MJ131x (S. Whitfield), MJ181x (H. Scarr), WS21x (H. Blevins), WS31x (M. Bell), Wvet1x (C. Scholl), WJ181x (H. Blevins), MJ132x (T. Edwards, S. Whitfield), WJ134x (M. Pickering, L. Lax, A. Scurfield, P. Jones, Cox V. Elder), Elite 2- (A. Bird, H. Scarr) and the Wvet4x- (B. Lippe, C. Scholl, R. Hill, H. Stainforth).
The older Junior squad is travelling down to Nottingham this weekend for the National Schools Regatta, while the rest of the club are in full training for Hexham Regatta the following week.
