CIU League: Gordon Dodds and Paul Knighton hit maximums to lead the Crook Belle Vue darts charge to another whitewash success when they visited Willington.
This pushed the Crook side two points clear of Newfield with two matches in hand. Cockton Hill are two points behind Newfield.
Newfield are the clear-cut leaders in the dominoes section, where they are six ahead of Byers Green and seven ahead of Cockton Hill. Despite having a bye, Ferryhill still lead the pool section by one point from Newfield and two from the Prospect and Cockton Hill.

The revised points positions after the withdrawal of Middlestone Moor are:

Captains League: Byers Green 14; Cockton Hill, Ferryhill and Crook Belle Vue 12 each; Newfield, Prospect and Crowtrees 9 each; Willington 8; Chilton 6; Tindale Crescent 5.
Willington Ladies League
The final of the Team Darts Knockout will see another tussle between the darts winners and the runners-up. The winning Willington Club B beat the visiting Hunwick Joiners Arms 2-0, whilst the runners-up from Sunnybrow brown trout beat the visiting Willington Market by the same score.
Willington Club B will now meet Sunnybrow Brown Trout in the final on Finals Night on June 17.
JG Taxis League
Willington Cottles opened the new league with the only whitewash success in the darts section when they beat the visiting Crook King's Head. The home winners were S. Robinson, K. Louth, J. Barron, C. Fleming and A. Robinson.
Hunwick Quarry produced the best result in the dominoes section when they whitewashed the visiting Willington Brewer's Droop B with wins from S. Henry, C. Lowe, M. Lowe, D. Edmundson and C. Lee.
Ushaw Moor Catholic Club made a good start in the pool section, where they only dropped two points to the visiting Willington Black Horse Tavern. The visitors' points came from J. Martin and M. Pickering whilst E. Patterson, I. Kerr and S. Toulson scored two each with S. Patterson and I. Toase adding one each for the Catholic Club.

Auckland Area CIU League
Eldon Lane won the Team Knockout in the closest finish on record when they beat West Auckland in the decider after the teams had fought their way to 27 each. Ray Race proved the Eldon Lane hero when he clinched the trophy with a last ditch victory in the whist decider.
The teams started the second leg at West Auckland with Eldon Lane holding a 14-11 advantage from the first leg. West took the darts by the odd point with wins from Robert Douthwaite, Neil Pinkney and Tony Mundell whilst Billy Percival and Stephen Weldon replied for the visitors.
Eldon then managed an odd point success at dominoes with wins from Alan Race, Keith Younghusband and John Bell with replies from Ian Bowes and Neil Pinkney for West. Things got better for Eldon Lane when they edged through to win the whist by the odd point when Ray Race, Kenny Williams and Alan Race won for them with Jimmy Singlewood and Ian Bowes replying. Another odd point win came for the visitors in the fives and three when they had points from Brian Younghusband, Kenny Williams and John Bell, whilst Alan House and John Richardson won for West Auckland.
Eldon Lane had made a whitewash success in the pool in the first leg but the tables were completely turned at West Auckland when the home side cleaned up with wins from John Wyman, Brian Denham, John Richardson, Jimmy Singlewood and Paul Brownson.
With the score level at 25 each both teams nominated a player to play one game. All games began at the same time with Rob Douthwaite winning at darts and John Richardson and fives and threes for West Auckland, whilst Ronnie Thompson won at dominoes and Terry Race at pool for Eldon Lane, leaving everyone waiting for the whist result. Eldon Lane were ecstatic when Ray Race clinched the victory.
